Teapot/Brigitta

Wreck, Scenic, Suitable for all, Progression Dive

Depth 20m

Lying very close to the South Pullar Cardinal Mark, this is a 2000 steam Cargo Coaster carrying coal from Barry to Dieppe that was mined and sank in December 1917.  Popularly called the T'Pot from the object recovered by Selsey Bill SAC, it is also called the Brigitta or Tennyson but as far as we know it has not been positively identified to date. Subsequent to sinking it was further damaged by a passing vessel! Nice prominent boilers, home to Congers, and a large Propellor are amongst the attractions.

SMB deployment required on leaving the wreck.
