The oceans and its inhabitants often capture the imagination of children. In fact, the future health and welfare of the oceans will depend on their connection and understanding of the ocean. By enrolling in the SSI Explorer programme they can discover the wonder of Snorkel, Scuba, Mermaid, and Freediving Explorer programs.
The SSI Explorers program allows children from as young as six* to experience the different ways they can explore the aquatic world around them and get closer to nature. They will gain a solid foundation in ocean conservation and have the opportunity to experience four main aquatic adventures via snorkelling, freediving, swimming like a real mermaid and scuba diving. For those explorers who want to the fun to continue or are waiting to become fully certified freedivers, mermaids and scuba divers the SSI Explorers programme can expand their knowledge as they continue their underwater experience with over 20 specialty courses.
In addition to having fun the SSI Explorers adventures will enable young water lovers to acquire maturity, self-esteem, and a sense of responsibility
*some explorer activities have different age requirements.
