The Science of Diving programme expands on the information that you learnt as an Open Water diver. It is required training for SSI Dive Professionals above Dive Guide, and some Extended Range programs. It will also satisfy the thirst for knowledge of any Open Water Diver.
The Science of Diving covers an in-depth and detailed study of physics, physiology, decompression theory, the aquatic environment and diving equipment. A land-based diving speciality the home study is accompanied by an academic workshops.
