Try Scuba

A Try Scuba Experience is your first step to discovering the underwater world with the use of SCUBA equipment. This Entry Level programme can be enjoyed as a family activity on its own or a taster before learning to dive. Wearing a total diving system, you will experience the feeling of weightlessness and the sensation of breathing underwater!

The Try Scuba Experience is conducted in a heated pool and led by a fully qualified SSI Instructor. Under your Instructor's guidance you can build confidence and enjoy yourself. 

We begin by fitting you with your mask and snorkel and showing you how to prepare them.  We take you through a safety introduction then under the water we go! Time will pass quickly as you learn new skills and discover buoyancy. Whilst you have fun our staff members capture your time underwater. We will post video and photographs on the Mulberry Marine Experiences Facebook page with your permission of course.  

Each participant will receive the online Try Scuba Recognition card, this is easily viewed via the SSI App. After the session we email you with full details of what you can do next if you wish to continue with your SCUBA adventures.

Try Scuba Experiences are held in Selsey and dates can be arranged to fit you, with just two of you in the water you have plenty of time to get the best from your Try Scuba Experience. If you prefer, we do offer a 1:1 option on all our training courses/experiences, just ask for pricing and date information.  If meeting the local marine life interests you why not consider the Basic Diver program.
