Perfect Buoyancy

The SSI Perfect Buoyancy Course is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to increase your buoyancy control. This has many benefits for you and your scuba diving. Increased comfort, reduced air consumption, and the ability to move effortlessly through the water! It also helps protect the marine environment. 

You Instructor will work with you to look at your breathing patterns, weight distribution, and equipment configuration. When renting you can apply the knowledge and skills learnt so that you get the most from the equipment.  Perfect Buoyancy really comes into its own if you have already invested in your in your Buoyancy System, we can then help you truly personalise your diving experience. 

Maintaining neutral buoyancy in shallow water takes practice but is important for you as diver. This is a pool-based speciality, we work with you to establish neutral buoyancy in depths to 2 metres. You can add an additional open water dive at Selsey Lifeboat Station for practice and consolidation in deeper water, just ask for details.
